It’s for the first time not only in L’viv but Ukraine as well, the facade of an ordinary apartment house was re-organized into some conceptual project. Perhaps that event will set an example for other cities to civilize and to transform banal, utilitarian architecture objects into some original interactive artworks. Just an ordinary wall was turned into the crossword which has hidden the names of known Ukrainian artists, architecture terms, categories of art, etc. The answers appear after a sunset when letters begin to shine. The crossword is multilingual , its mission is - International presentation of Ukrainian art. Thus, at present a former commonplace object is an attraction for tourists and a permanent art-game for the citizens of L’viv and visitors of our city. The author of the project is young L’viv artist Sergey Petlyuk. Curator - Markiyan Ivaschyshyn, Director of Art Association "Dzyga" Please, view “Crossword” /questions-answers/ Concerts of Modern Music and Video-Art “Post Christmas” Project “Post Christmas” is a complex of Ukrainian Christmas carols & folk Christmas songs, modern improvise percussion music and multimedia project “Observing Icon”. Art Association “Dzyga” has contributed greatly to the presentation of “Post Christmas” in Kyiv /within the project “L’viv Place”/ Please, view “Post Christmas” “Art Accepts the Challenge of Crisis” Usually economic depression is a severe test for advertising business. As a result many outdoor advertising billboards and other such like things occur to be spare. We’ve got the strongest wish to capture them with artworks. In 2009. “Dzyga” is going to announce the grand competition “Dreams of L’viv”. This project welcomes any free inspirations, meditations, visions, emotions concerning L’viv , its future & mythology to be materialized on billboards. It’ll be something like mass hypnosis. The opening of pipeline, social channel between artists and just common passers-by seems to be the most attractive aspect of the project. Undoubtedly the best artworks will contribute to the comprehension of such unique city as L’viv, and to its discourse as well. . We expect the project to be very positive: usually dreams (even artists’ dreams) are pregnant with pink hopes. “Voices On-line”
