I’m Mel and this is my running weight loss transformation. I used to be very fit (I played handball, did gymnastics and also Crossfit) but when I started my own business I had to put my work first for a year. This meant I gained 13kg (almost 29lbs). After I realised how much I had let myself go and how self-conscious and unhappy I was, I decided to make a change. Running wasn’t my favourite sport, but I did it anyway and I got used to running the sprint workouts and longer distances. I followed the instructions my Running Coach gave me in the app and trained 3 - 4 times a week, alone and in a small group. In all weathers. The hard work was worth it. In 3 months I lost 9kg (almost 20lbs) and got my old confidence back. I even fell in love with running! I still train with the app - I would miss it if I stopped. And now I want to add bodyweight and gym training - not because I have to, but because I like the challenge :) I can safely say that it works. The hard work is worth it.
