The Obesity Foundation and other organizations have come out against this because of the uncertainty of what these compound pharmacies are producing when the FDA opens up the option when there are drug shortages. Finally, what I deeply became aware of during this process of reflection was that no matter what, the use of this drug is not a fix-all choice. I still need to move my body, increase my muscle density, and improve my food choices. Ultra-processed foods are a leading cause of inflammation in our bodies.
