Piper suggests the recent dip in diabetes device stocks is overblown, creating a buying opportunity for investors willing to wait out the "GLP-1 narratives." “Given where the names currently sit from a valuation perspective, we see type 2 diabetes as a complete call option on all diabetes names,” Piper said in its note. Piper Sandler said in the case of devices for type 2 diabetes, “we continue to believe that the size of the market is underappreciated and the vast number of patients, combined with the low penetration, will help offset this to some degree.” For type 1 diabetes, Piper said it remained “confident” that the market won’t be impacted by GLP-1 as the body generally needs to be able to produce some amount of insulin for the drugs to be of much benefit. For those of you not following along, Mike has been trying several different supplements to see how it would effect both his blood sugar and blood ketones. The goal of this keto experiment is to help keto dieters know what supplement ingredients they can use, and what ingredients to stear away from.
In today's video Mike try's out L-Citrulline to see if it is in fact glucogenic. We know that arginine has been shown to be glucogenic and wouldn't be recommended for keto dieters, but does Citrulline do the same?
Answer is yes, but not horrific. The pros may outweigh the cons for most athletes, but we advise staying away from citrulline-based supplements while you are transitioning into ketosis / fat adaptation.

Become a fan: http://www.facebook.com/hugorivera.net Aerobic exercise such as walking, riding a stationary bike, or running is a good way to accelerate the fat burning process, as long as it is not overdone and as long as it is used only in addition to a good weight training program. It should never be used as a substitute for weight training since it does not permanently increases your metabolism and since it does not has the ability to re-shape your body. Best Times To Perform Aerobic Activity Another important point that needs to be raised is that in order for aerobic exercise to be an effective fat burner it needs to be performed at the appropriate times. There are only two times that aerobic exercise is effective in burning fat. 1. In The Morning On An Empty Stomach: The best time to perform cardiovascular exercise is first thing in the morning on an empty stomach after drinking 16 to 24 ounces of water in order to prevent dehydration. When performed at this time you burn 300% more body fat that at any other time in the day because your body does not has any glycogen (stored carbohydrates-sugar) in the system to burn. Therefore, it has to go directly into the fat stores in order to get the energy necessary to complete the activity. 2. Right After Weight Training: The other time when aerobic exercise is effective is immediately after the weight training session. The reason for this is that when exercise is not performed first thing in the morning it takes your body approximately anywhere between 20 to 30 minutes to start burning fat. This is because that it how long it takes the body to deplete its glycogen stores and switch to a fat burning environment. Therefore, it would not be efficient to perform aerobic exercise by itself at any other time during the day because you would need to perform it for 20-30 minutes just to get to the fat burning stage and for an additional 20 minutes just so that you burn fat. This would give a grand total of 50 minutes a day and in my opinion, I think that unless you are a competitive bodybuilder with a perfect diet and a superb supplementation program designed to protect muscle mass, aerobic exercise should not be performed for more than 6 sessions a week of 20-45 minutes a day for males and 30-45 minutes for females since this would put you at a risk of losing muscle mass. Only competitive bodybuilders sometimes need to go as high as 45 minutes, twice a day. Keep in mind however that this is performed for a short period of time and only in conjunction with a pre-contest diet which consists of a high frequency of meals and with supplementation like glutamine, which helps to protect muscle tissue. Remember that more is not always better and this is especially true when it comes to aerobic exercise. But I had skipped over some homework in my program (on how to create an awesome membership). And had to back track to do the work before making this official. Let's be honest. As high achievers and strategy seekers, we want to get right down to the actionable solutions. So I sat there and did all my membership outlines and had a plan in place. But something kept seeming off. Oh yeah! The whole chapter I skipped thinking it was optional. Because it felt too hard to do the introspective work required to figure out the 5 Core Values that lead me in my life and business. So I sat down and did my homework because I'm paying into this program and things just weren't making sense! Guess what? It was because I didn't define my Core Values- my in depth "WHY". SO I didn't have a way to check myself when I went off topic or outside my goals of my business. The lesson I constantly learn- without defining your "why", it's hard to know you're on the right road or just the easiest/closest path you could find.
