Here are the top elements of nutrition to explore to help reduce any side effects you may be experiencing. Protein is vital for our body and gives us a sense of satisfaction when we eat. The recommended amount of protein is 1 to 1.2 grams for every kilogram of your goal weight. That isn't a small amount, and it means working towards 90 grams of protein on average each day. The GLP1 drugs reduce appetite, which can mean you aren't that hungry, so exploring ways to either drink your protein or add protein powder to meals can be helpful. Fiber - eating at least 25-35 grams of fiber each day can help the elements of the side effects related to digestion and constipation that can occur when you are on these GLP1 drugs.
